Handmade in Abancay, Peru, by Indigenous artisans, the Kantu Baby Alpaca Sweater celebrates a textile tradition deeply rooted in the Andes, where alpaca fiber has been treasured for centuries for its exceptional softness, warmth and quality.

Crafted using 70% baby alpaca, the sweater brings this ancestral Andean material into a contemporary silhouette. Contrasting colors along the neckline, cuffs and hem add a playful detail to the natural warmth and texture of the alpaca.

Each piece is made by hand, carrying forward generations of Andean textile knowledge and craftsmanship. A piece that carries the heritage of the Peruvian Andes through its fibers, made slowly and designed to be treasured for years.

Details:

Origin: Apurimac, Peru.
Composition: 70% baby alpaca, 7% merino wool, 23% recycled polyamide.
Technique: Handwoven textiles.
One size only
Measurements: Length: approx. 62 cm, chest width approx. 60 cm, shoulder width: approx. 66 cm, sleeve length: approx. 53 cm

Measurements are taken with the garment laid flat. As each piece is handmade, slight variations may occur.

Care & Use:

Preferably, dry clean only.
If needed, hand wash in cold water with a mild wool detergent.
Do not bleach, wring or twist.
Dry flat in its natural shape, away from direct sunlight or heat.
Do not tumble dry.
Iron at low temperature if needed.
Store folded to preserve its shape.
